UK Trade & Investment Visit
On the 1st of March 2016, ANM in collaboration with Arriyadh Development Authority (ADA) – the executive arm of the High Commission for the Development of Arriyadh, hosted a delegation from UK Trade & Investment for a tour to Line 3, the longest line of Riyadh Metro Project.
UKTI is a UK Government department that helps UK-based companies succeed in the global economy.
The tour started at the 3F2 Station located in Salahuddin Al-Ayubi Road in Malaz District, where the TBM was launched last year. After a safety induction the delegation was taken on ANM’s people mover and led inside the completed section of the tunnel for a distance of around 2,000m through the stations 3F1 and 3E6 where the TBM machine ‘Jazlah’ was boring through. The participants had the chance to visit the machine while it was in operation and assist the installation of the lining segments.
