World Day for Safety 2016
ANM supports the International Labour Organization (ILO) initiative “World Day for Safety and Health at Work”.
On the occasion of World Day for Safety and Health at Work (28th April), ANM launched several activities across the 42.8 km Line 3 site to promote a culture of safety.
To this end, from 10am to 11am, all teams have been “stopped” to attend plenary sessions and toolbox talks on the following topics:
– Everyone has a hand in safety.
– Safety Golden Rules.
– Worker’s Memorial Day.
The key goal of this initiative was to prevent future incidents and lost time injuries by raising awareness of health and safety issues in our workplace.
At ANM safety is a value not just a priority.
Safety is not a gadget, but a state of mind.
